Short answer: yes, especially if you're traveling with family or in a group.Here's the honest breakdown. A grand taxi from Marrakech to Essaouira costs around 80-100 MAD per person. For a couple, that's about 18-22€ total — cheaper than our service. But you'll share the car with 4-5 strangers, there's no guaranteed AC (and in July/August, that matters), and you get dropped at the taxi station, not your hotel.The CTM bus is comfortable and cheap (~80 MAD per person), but departures are fixed, it takes longer (3.5 hours with stops), and again — station to station. If your riad is in the medina, you'll still need a taxi from the bus station.
